TYLER NEWTON - Owner, CEO

As a former Division I university athlete, Tyler Newton knows what it takes to succeed not only at the college level, but also as a professional athlete.  Tyler has enhanced his skills and athleticism while traveling the world where he trained under some of the best strength and conditioning coaches in 5 different countries. After 7 years playing professionally, including 3 as an all-star in the JBL in Japan, Tyler Newton is very excited to bring his knowledge and experience to the North State to help athletes of all sports truly “Unleash Their Potential.”

TERESA NEWTON - Owner, Secretary

Teresa and husband Tyler have been married now for 3 years and make their home here in Chico. Attended American River Junior College for two years before traveling the world with Tyler while playing basketball professionally. Teresa will be handling the front desk and day to day operation of the business as an owner of TNT and is available to schedule training times or birthday parties. In her spare time she is also pursuing a degree in medical billing and coding.

MATTHEW COPELAND - General Manager

A former Division I college athlete, Matthew has spent his entire life dedicated to health and fitness. With both parents working in the field of health and sport, Matthew grew up learning the basic fundamentals of diet, exercise, and training. He is excited to bring his wealth of knowledge of nutrition and fitness to help local athletes unleash their potential.

JON MACALUTAS - Mac's Pro Baseball School

A Cal Poly industrial engineering graduate, Macalutas has owned and operated Mac's Professional Baseball School in Chico, Ca since 2003. Career leader in games played (208), hits (243), doubles (48), and hit by pitches (38) at Cal Poly San Louis Obispo. A non-drafted free agent in 1996. Got to the double AA level in the minor leagues. Career .290 hitter in professional baseball. Amassed 777 career pro hits. 448 runs scored, 160 doubles, 58 home runs, 391 RBI, 116 stolen bases, and 300 walks to 279 strikeouts. Has been involved in baseball for the past 30 years. Entering his 17th year of playing, teaching, coaching, or managing at the professional level. Has taught over 30,000 private baseball and softball lessons along with hundreds of camps for every age level. Available for lessons in all areas of the game. Mac is also the CFO of Sandlot Stiks, makers of professional quality wood baseball bats right here in Chico.
